At the Weight Mastery Institute, we believe that each individual is unique, and therefore there is no one-size-fits-all “perfect” diet.  1. Low Glycemic Eating

Many of the worlds healthiest diets rely on low glycemic foods. A low glycemic diet emphasizes unprocessed foods, complex carbohydrates, lean proteins and healthy fats with the aim of maintaining balanced blood sugar levels.  Low glycemic foods often provide greater satiety and sustained energy and can help control appetite and delay hunger, making it easier to maintain a healthy weight. Additionally, the reduction of sugar, processed foods & refined carbohydrates can result in reduced inflammation in the body.

2. Nutrient Dense Foods

Simply stated, nutrient dense foods provide the most nutrients for the fewest amount of calories. We will help you learn how to add more delicious and nutrient dense foods to your daily diet.  As you begin to add new recipes and ingredients to your routine, you will slowly “crowd out” the more refined and nutrient deficient foods.

3. Portion Control

The combination of nutrient density & low glycemic foods is a powerful duo, but without portion control, it may not be possible to master your weight. Our program will teach you how to moderate portions and calories to assure you are getting plenty of nutrition, without going overboard.

Our nutrition program is not a deprivation-style cleanse or a strict diet with tons of rules to follow. We focus on adding in instead of taking away to nourish, protect and renew your body at a cellular level. We teach you how to eat a whole food, low glycemic diet that will keep you feeling full instead of empty, fulfilled and not deprived.

Your nutrition content will be delivered through in-person presentations, workshops and cooking classes as well as an intensive online program. The online content  is accessed via an easy-to-use learning platform that works on all devices, including your smart phone. You’ll have 24/7 access to learn on your own time, at your own pace. Each week a new module will become available, with content delivered via videos and downloadable PDFs to help you master your nutrition with ease.

With some simple steps and advanced planning, gardening can be an enjoyable activity only requiring a few hours a week of your time and providing you with a source of fresh, healthy and homegrown produce from your own property, providing you a convenient and easy way to access healthy foods to promote weight loss.
