After 17 years of professional modern and jazz dancing, Michael turned his talents to the world of ﬁtness and rehabilitation. His dance background and training allows him to apply his astute awareness of movement to help people of all ﬁtness levels achieve their goals. Movement is a learning process that allows your body to achieve physical organization resulting in less pain, more flexibility and an overall healthy core.
Michael uses the principles of physics, biomechanics and an empirical understanding of learning and human development to help clients expand their self-image through movement sequences that bring attention to the physical parts of the self that are out of step. Michael utilizes the Feldenkrais and Pilates methods and is nationally recognized in this field of movement.
Michael is a frequent instructor nationally for Polestar Education and is a member of the Pilates Method Alliance. He has earned several certifications such as; Principles of Intelligent Movement Certiﬁcation in Pilates and GYROTONIC®, Polestar Pilates certiﬁcation for fitness and rehabilitation. Michael has trained exclusively with founder, Juliu Horvath, the foremost expert in this field.
